For flawless, shift-free digital die-cutting, your design file must be prepared to certain standards:
- Practical Trimming (A4/A5 Cutting): After kiss-cutting is complete, for ease of use and packing, we can trim the large sheets down to A4 or A5 size on request. This makes storing your labels and using them during application much more practical.
- Cut Line (Stroke): Mark the cut path the blade will follow on a separate layer over your design as a red stroke (0.25 pt).
- Bleed: So no white gaps remain if the blade shifts, extend your artwork's background 1–2 mm beyond the cut line. Keep your text at least 2 mm inside the cut line.
- Color Format & Resolution: Your file should be prepared in CMYK color mode at a resolution of at least 300 DPI.
